I think sometimes bloggers overlook that part of the business, it can at first seem overwhelming and even when you do start it can still seem like it's a wait & see game. Once you get the right product and right affiliate network then you can wait for that check every mth. in the mail. I would like to find a couple more products that I really enjoy working with,and make that check a little bit bigger. lol There is work to put into being an affiliate marketer and I agree with you in that a marketer must keep themselves motivated, be creative and have that desire in them to succeed. I know that after years of working for the MVD and several other small jobs in between,when my sister and I opened a brick 'n'mortar business it was the greatest thing that could have happened. But it seemed that we were constantly putting money in and when we did make money it seemed to fly right out of our hands,even before we got to pocket any. After several years one comes to the realization that enough is enough and you must close down the doors. So having the flexibility of your own work hours and like you mentioned zero risk, and no money down being an affiliate marketer can really be a great choice.
